My wife and I are very happy with our Sunsolar/Tesla battery installation. Our sales associate Zak was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Nayeli, our customer service rep, kept us informed every step of the process and was always available when we had questions. Our service tech Quinn helped us understand how to use the app on our cell Read more about review stating Sunsolar Solutionsphones and took a lot of time with us. We will recommend Sunsolar Solutions to anyone interested in solar.

The system looks very classy. I am very happy to have this solar system that will insure continuous connectivity for power. The installation went very smoothly and Mark Perry was very helpful in the process!

We were hesitant about solar given the neighborhood talk of issues. However, there were three in the area that spoke up about their good experiences with SunSolar. We ended up getting a new roof and wrapped that into the solar bundle for a great value. The communication on every step of the way from roof to completion and beyond has been exceptionRead more about review stating Trustal. You can trust this company.

I had a great experience working with Sun Solar and Daniel Adams my sales representative. The communication was clear and both Dan and Sun Solar did everything that they said they would. The install was fast and they even upgraded my Main service panel.

My initial review is below and all of that still holds true. Our sales and install process along with bird net install a few months later was all great/top-notch. I do however need to share my experience since, and highly highly caution you as you consider Sun Solar Solutions. When our system was installed, we were told, due to code, our Tesla battery would have to be installed on the west side of our house and Tesla indicated there would be no problem with the battery being in the sun during the hottest part of the summer days. We have had continuous issues with our battery shutting down to protect itself when the temps get to 105-plus. This means the power we stored throughout the morning gets discharged and we can’t get through the peak rate hours without pulling from the grid, which negates the full value of the system. I did not choose where to install the battery and was told this would not be an issue. Now two summers in and multiple service calls, a Tesla software update, etc…I ask for SSS to help by moving the battery to the inside of the garage and out of the sun, or to pay/assist with a pergola or sun shade install to solve the problem. The response I got was, that company policy does not allow for this and I would have to pay to move the battery or would have to pay for a shade system on my own. I asked to escalate this up the chain and two days later I have still not received a call or email in return. For a company that did so well on the front end, this is extremely disappointing and I highly caution you if you are considering SSS for your system. If you are going to go with SSS I would demand they place your battery in a location that they KNOW will not be negatively impacted by the high heat of the afternoon hours. My previous review: Our experience with Sun Solar Solutions has been top notch from sales through install. We research everything and always have a ton of questions. Scott our consultant was incredible and answered every question and was extremely flexible with us in getting our install scheduled and rescheduled….TWICE…to accommodate changes to our schedule. Our project manager Nayeli has been on the spot with clear and concise communications, updates, etc…Our install team was amazing! They took great care with our home and all of them communicated with us so well throughout the process. They worked with us throughout the day to allow our pups to get some outside time and cleaned up the worksite each day. We have been very impressed with everyone at SSS and feel very confident that they will be there for us if any issues should arise.

This is an honestly terrible experience, and I highly recommend against using this company. My basic impression is that this was a total scam and their sales rep Taytan was misleading during the entire presentation and about the results. The Good: The install looks clean and the overall startup process went relatively smoothly. The Bad: 1) They said there was a Tesla Battery Credit, which was $500 or $1000. It has never been received. 2) They never told me it takes time for APS to transfer you over to the new account, which was a little over a month. Not a huge deal in and of itself, but that means the first month you are paying for your plan you get no savings, if it even worked. It wouldn't have even annoyed me except for the fact on top of everything else. 3) There are no savings here. My bill with them is nearly $250 a month. Their solar saved me $150. I was told my average bill was going to be $35. As you can see in the images provided July was $418, or basically the entire $35/month in a single month. I never expected it to actually be that low, but this is insanely more than I ever expected. I am now paying $100 more a month for energy than if I hadn't gotten solar. We have moved all of our appliance use outside of peak hours, and still had only negative results. This was the major reason I signed on. 4) I am severely concerned with rolling brown outs occurring due to heavy electric use infrastructure going into the valley. The salesman told me that the battery could carry us to between 2 and 4 am for power use. The battery is at minimum every time by the time the sunsets, which isn't even an hour of energy use. On average, during peak hours, even with generation, it drains about 40% of the battery per hour. There is next to no power outage protection with this system. This is the secondary reason I purchased the system. 5) I was adamant that the system wasn't going to produce enough, which it doesn't. I was assured they had thousands of data points that showed it was. With the results being so abysmal, I'm severally glad I was talked out of upgrading to a larger system that would have lost me even more money. All in all, I am losing money with their program, and there won't be any benefits to me. Don't make the same mistake. I'm not sure if their other reps are as dishonest as Taytan, but I'd recommend just steering clear.
